Taking off Draculaura's boots?

To those who have done it: what's the trick? I've tried several times now but I'm terrified of snapping off her fragile knee joint or that the boots won't go back on once they're off.

Thanks for any help! I'm thinking of getting Frankie soon and the first thing I want to do is put Frankie's pumps on her.

Wrap your hand firmly around her leg and pull the boot off with the other hand. It's really not complicated and I've never heard of anyone breaking any MH legs.

Ah, thanks! I just stuck my finger between her leg and her boot and the boot popped right off. I guess that's what I needed to do all along.

Also, Draculaura's boots are pretty easy. My troubles are with Cleo's and Clawdeen's.

Clawdeen's are hard on the hands. I remember when I was asked to do that photoshoot where all the girls switched clothes repeatedly. My hands were sore by the end and it was all due to Clawdeen's boots.

A tip for getting the shoes *on*: insert the toe, then push the doll's heel until the foot pops in. Probably obvious, but I was so proud of myself when I figured it out.

I've had the exact same problem. The thing I do is that I try to seperate her legs from her boots first so when I pull, I only pull on her feet.
